Why Families Are Moving to Northwest ISD

Families are continuing to move into the Northwest ISD area in North Fort Worth, and it’s easy to see why. The district is growing rapidly and continuing to build new campuses, including the Dr. David Hicks Early Childhood Center opening in 2026 and a new high school expected to open in 2027. At the same time, there are many new construction communities across Haslet, Justin, Northlake, and North Fort Worth, giving buyers plenty of housing options within the district. For many families, strong schools and newer neighborhoods make Northwest ISD a place to keep on their radar.
