he Gala in the Garden . Stan Hwyet Hall and Gardens holds a special place in our hearts, which is why we come to as many events as possible throughout the year. . The "Gala" is by far our favorite. Black tie and gowns, beautiful estate with historic significance, and getting to walk through the home and experience the grounds like they did decades ago. . The event benefits the educational programming that is held at the estate, as well as the preservation of the grounds, the interior and, exterior of the home, and all the decor and furnishings of the home.
